Forty years of innovation in communication and learning
We’re celebrating our 40th year in business in 2022. It’s been a momentous year for us as we join back together in person after the pandemic, moving into our beautifully remodelled office at Burleigh House, with new working patterns.
It’s fascinating to reflect on how things have changed over this period. But also to think about the things that we’ve held on to at the heart of our work.
The changes and the constants
Over the past four decades since our founding in 1982, we’ve seen transformation in the world around us. We’ve thrived on responding to change, both within our organisation and in how we’ve worked with our clients and connected with our communities.
We’ve witnessed a revolution in technology, huge trends in workplace cultures, and vastly shifting attitudes towards issues ranging from environmental awareness to social inclusion.
Acteon has changed in many ways too. Even our name is different. We were originally established as Information Transfer by our four founding partners. We’ve evolved from an initial start-up into a buzzing team of over 50 people, with our own (extremely well loved) creative Studio.
And yet much of what forms our essential character and values remains the same. We prize people, we find creative ways to solve problems and develop impactful communications, we use technology astutely to support our clients’ objectives, and we keep an understanding of humans at the centre of our work.
We have accumulated a wealth of experience over time and through working with a wide range of clients, while keeping our passion for innovation and fresh ideas.

This year we celebrated by coming together for a summer party, and with four extra days of leave for all colleagues. And most significantly, our remodelled office at Burleigh House gives us a modern, fresh and energetic place for us to bring our skills and ideas together to continue evolving!
