May is an Acteon consultant with a background as an adult speech and language therapist, specialising in the assessment and treatment of communication changes after stroke or traumatic brain injury.
She brings extensive experience working in adult learning, having worked primarily in neuro-rehabilitation, with a particular interest in cognitive and behavioural neurosciences. May is passionate about making information accessible to a range of audiences, as much of her previous work included breaking down complex information to support people to make their own healthcare decisions.
As a highly visual person, May recognises the importance of creating learning that is engaging as well as memorable. In her free time, she enjoys sketching, scouring Airbnb for a weekend getaway and eating chocolate cake.
