Acteon worked with HC-One, one of the country’s largest care providers to create Ascent - an engaging and accessible digital platform that aligns review and personal development with providing the kindest care.

“We’re so pleased that HC-One has been shortlisted as a finalist at the CIPD awards,” said Owen Rose, a managing partner at Acteon. “Ascent is delivering real business impact, and helping to meet a critical business objective for all care providers – enhancing staff retention.”

HC-One is driving best practice in learning and development for the care sector and specialises in Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care. Each of their residents and their relatives can trust that the care they receive will be delivered with kindness, thoughtfulness and respect, in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.

They’ve been honoured as winners of a Peer Award for Excellence in the use of Technology for People and Performance, two Gold E-Learning Awards and two Gold Training Journal Awards. Their Head of People, Alison Innes-Farquhar was also awarded ‘Chief Learning Officer of the Year’ at the prestigious Learning Awards.

Winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony at the glamorous Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane on 26 September 2017.
